Pirnat
Jr Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Lianne Pirnat

Jr. Kindergarten Lead Teacher

I come from a family of teachers. Teaching has been part of my chosen profession throughout my lifetime. Even when I was very young I was known as “Lianne, the pied piper of children.” I would set up my own nature school in the neighborhood; I organized soccer clinics, and mini Olympics. All my start up jobs were teaching at preschools and summer camps. Since I have a love for sports I coached youth soccer for girls and boys.

I graduated with a BS Ed in Early Childhood at Western Carolina University with an emphasis in history and reading. I was a substitute teacher, an assistant teacher and a Kindergarten teacher for a number of years in Fairfax County. I was with Good Beginnings School, Reston Campus since April of 2014. In August of 2016 I transferred to the Aldie Campus. I continue to grow my skills through coursework and professional development opportunities as often as I can. I have not lost the passion and enthusiasm for teaching.

I have 2 children; my son is a college student at NOVA and recently became an Eagle Scout. My daughter is a Langley High School student, a cheerleader, and a free spirit who enjoys baking and watching home improvement shows.
