Early Preschool Lead Teacher

Hello! My name is Khadija Chahboun. I was born and raised in Morocco, Africa. I have always wanted to come to the United States since I was a little girl. I taught in a children’s center for over 10 years in Rabat, Morocco assisting in all areas of childcare and all ages from infants through older children.

I came to the United States in 2011 and have been married since 2012. We have a son, Ali, who attended school here at GBS for his preschool through Kindergarten years. I became a US citizen in July of 2020, which has been a dream come true for me!

I have been with Good Beginnings School since December of 2017 and I enjoy very much being here. I began my career at GBS in the kitchen as the school chef until an opening occurred in the Toddler Room to enable me to assist in that classroom! I took the opportunity when everything shut down this past March of 2020 to spend time in the Carolinas with some close relatives. In early January, 2021 our family returned to the area and am very happy to once again be a part of the exuberant happenings here at GBS!

I am now the Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool class. This gives me the happy privilege of being with these little people helping and challenging them in their development and assisting them to grow in their wonder. I absolutely love teaching and observing all aspects of their progress. I look forward to making a difference in their lives.
